一个由沙子和仙人掌组成的十分荒凉的生物群系。沙漠中很少会出现敌人，主要由贫瘠的沙丘和偶尔出现的仙人掌组成，在沙漠右边还有一台留声机。这里最容易被人注意到的是中心的金字塔。

摇摇欲坠的废墟散布在该群系，有时附近还有席西的巡逻队。

Fungal Pedestal

The Fungal Pedestal.

A small pedestal with fungal glyphs carved into it. Always spawns close to the western edge of the desert.

Far above this pedestal, at about the same height as the Eastern Cloudscape, floats a Fungal Altar, which holds one of the clues for the Uusi Aurinko quest.

巨型颅骨

巨型颅骨

在金字塔的西边有一个未命名的结构，由一个巨大的头骨所组成。

挖开头骨的顶部，用水来填充进头颅的眼睛中，大概要倒到眼睛的一半大小（大约是两瓶半那么多），就会生成一个永久性的蓝色传送门，通往世界西边的湖泊。

The desert heat will evaporate the water quite quickly, so use of a spell like Rain Cloud or Water Trail is ideal. Alternatively, two full bottles of water can be broken inside the skull can fill it up fast enough that pouring water from a third will activate the skull.

The entrance to the Pyramid.

A massive structure sitting in the middle of the desert, holding an Orb of True Knowledge and the Kolmisilmän koipi boss, it plays key in several quests.

The Essence Eater.

One of the two altars with a floating orb resting on it. Destroying the orb with immediately remove any Essences carried and materialize them in the form of its respective elemental stone.

The scale.

A large weighting scale, dilapidated and full of sand.

After completing parts of the Uusi Aurinko quest (making the New Sun and Dark Sun) the Sun rock and Dark Sun Rock gems will appear on the Scale. This will happen upon starting a new run.

Once both are present, the Omega Black Hole spell will appear on the balance-point between them.

The Music Machine

One of four Music Machines scattered across the world, this one lies close to the eastern wall. Its necessary for one of the Crystal Key quests.

Far above the entrance to the Pyramid lies a small, floating island with an outhouse on it. Destroying the structure will play a jingle and spawn a Touch of Gold? spell, unlocking it in subsequent runs.

Alongside the above, destroying the outhouse in subsequent runs, unless the player carries a Kakkakikkare, will only spawn a few Gold nuggets instead of the spell.
