Unturned - Permanent Gold Upgrade (sometimes referred to as "gold membership") is downloadable content for Unturned (version 3). It is the first piece of downloadable content that was released for Unturned, and it is the only piece of downloadable content that directly purchasable. The DLC is available on Steam for $4.99 USD.

Content

The DLC permanently unlocks premium content including extra character slots, additional character customization, exclusive cosmetics, user interface customization, access to any community-ran "Gold" servers, and a gold-colored username in user interfaces.

The cosmetics included are the: Gold Tophat, Gold Monocle, Gold Bowtie, Gold Tuxedo Top, Gold Tuxedo Bottom, Gold Aviators, Gold Tie, Gold Suit Top, Gold Suit Bottom, Gold Desert Falcon, and Gold Katana.

Community-ran servers may restrict the usage of some of the DLC content. For example, usage of multiple character slots may be disabled, or a third-party plugin may override the color of a player's username.

Classic iteration

In the Unturned (classic), this DLC provides a slightly different set of features. Although the classic iteration of the game no longer receives updates, DLC owners will still receive the original bonuses intended for the classic iteration. Rather than having the ability to access community-ran "Gold" servers, DLC owners instead have access to a "Gold" difficulty setting that features doubled experience gain. DLC owners will spawn Shades, a Fancy Suit, and Fancy Jeans. Finally, usernames have a gold color in user interfaces.
