The Justicar is one of the standard classes in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters.

Overiew[]

The Justicar is one of the most flexible classes, able to fill several roles. Compared to the other standard classes, their main strengths are their ability to take hits for the rest of the squad, and their unique leadership abilities.

Loadout[]

Justicars have access to most standard equipment, as well as gaining access to both Psycannons and Terminator Armour through abilities. They're one of two classes that have access to both of these, making for a relatively well-rounded unit that combines defense, strong ranged damage, and flexible melee options.

Core Discipline[]

	Justicar The Justicar gains +1 Armour with their Aegis Shield ability.
	Upgrade - Psybolt Damage Psybolt gains +1 DMG. [Unlocks the Ranged Weapon Upgrades branch]
	Terminator Armour (Equipment) This Knight can now equip Terminator Armour. [Unlocks the Aegis Shield Discipline branch]
	Willpower (Passive) This Knight gains +2 Max WP permanently. [Unlocks the Hammerhand Discipline branch]
	Health (Passive) This Knight gains +4 Max HP permanently. [Unlocks the Leadership Discipline branch]

Ranged Weapon Upgrades[]

	Upgrade - CRIT The Knight's Ranged Attacks have +10% CRIT.
	Upgrade - CRIT DMG The Knight's Ranged Attacks have +2 CRIT DMG.
	Psycannon (Equipment) This Knight can now equip the Psycannon Ranged Weapon.
	Rapid Reload (Auto (50%, 1 Use / Turn)) When the Knight's Ammo reaches 0, they have a 50% chance to Reload automatically.

	Upgrade - Armour This ability gains +1 Armour.
	Upgrade - Armour This ability gains +1 Armour.

	1 AP2 WPProvoke (Psychic Attack) Target a Blast over Area 2 at Range 0 to Afflict Enraged (100%, 1 Turns). Ignore (Cover).
	Upgrade - Area This ability gains +1 Area.
	+1 WPWarp Charge Activate to Afflict Crazed instead of Enraged. Afflicted targets will randomly attack their allies. Afflict Crazed (100%, 1 Turns). Ignore (Cover).
	Enduring Reflexes (Passive) This Knight gains +1 Use / Turn for all their Auto abilities.

Hammerhand Discipline[]

	1 AP2 WPHammerhand (Psychic Melee Attack) Strike at an adjacent Target to deal X* DMG. +100% CRIT.
	Upgrade - CRIT DMG This ability gains +1 CRIT DMG. [Unlocks the Rend The Unclean Discipline branch]
	+1 WPWarp Charge Activate to give this ability Afflict Bleed (+3. 100%). Target suffers 3 DMG at the end of its turn. DMG reduces by 1 per turn. [Unlocks the Melee Discipline branch]
	Willpower (Passive) This Knight gains +2 Max WP permanently.

Rend The Unclean Discipline[]

	1 AP2 WPRend The Unclean (Psychic Blast Attack) Strike at all targets within Blast Area 2 of this Knight to deal X* DMG. Knockback. No Stun. Ignore (Half Cover).
	Upgrade - Damage This ability gains +2 DMG.
	+1 WPWarp Charge Activate to gain +1 Blast Area and +2 DMG. Knockback. No Stun. Ignore (Half Cover).
	Willpower (Passive) This Knight gains +2 Max WP permanently.

Melee Discipline[]

	Upgrade - Force Strike (DMG) This Knight's Force Strikes gain +1 DMG.
	Upgrade - Force Strike (Armour Break) This Knight's Force Strikes gain Armour Break 1. Armour Break reduces a target's Armour.
	Upgrade - Force Strike (Armour Break) This Knight's Force Strikes gain Armour Break 1. Armour Break reduces a target's Armour.
	Ruthless Precision (Auto (50%, 1 / Turn)) When this Knight CRITS a target with a Melee Attack, they have a 50% chance to gain 1 AP automatically.

	1 AP1 WPHonour The Chapter (Psychic Boon) Choose a knight at any range, they gain +1 AP. Ignore (Cover).
	+1 WPUpgrade - AP The target gains +1 AP.
	+2 WPWarp Charge Activate to give the target +3 AP and +1 WP. Ignore (Cover). [Unlocks the Charge Discipline branch]
	Equipment Slot (Equipment) This Knight has an extra Wargear Slot to equip Passive Equipment.

Charge Discipline[]

	1 AP2 WPCrushing Charge (Psychic Attack) Run in a single direction up to Range 10 to deal 1 DMG. +1 Stun. Immune (Autos). Immune to Hazards. Knockback.
	Upgrade - Hobbled This ability gains Afflict Hobbled (100%, 2 Turns). Afflicted target suffers -2 Move Speed.
	Upgrade - Stun This ability gains +1 Stun. Stunned targets will be CRIT automatically.
	Health (Passive) This Knight gains +4 Max HP permanently.
