Acquirement

The BattlEye is an unobtainable cosmetic item. It was originally intended to be distributed to cheaters upon being banned by the BattlEye anti-cheat software, but this idea was scrapped as to avoid encouraging the action of cheating. The only owner of the item is Bastian Suter, the creator of BattlEye.

Trivia

• The idea for a BattlEye-themed cosmetic would eventually be reused for the BattlEye Halo, which is given to those falsely banned by the BattlEye anti-cheat.
