办法简单得狠。让路人以为他们会不费吹灰之力从一个老头身上赚点钱就行了。他们会想： “看呐，他都快握不住钓鱼竿了。”我从他们的眼神里察觉得到。然后，只要咱们把他们带进森林里够深的地方，就会就让他们晓得谁才是软弱可欺的一方，这法子屡试不爽了。
每一干完一票，我就跟其他人分享战利品。足够公平吧？
唉，悔不该丢了我的戒指。那段日子里，我感觉浑身是真正的气力。当我不得不自保以免遭锤击时，它就消失了。它掉进我们举办“比赛”的地方附近的小溪里去了。也许有一天我可以从溪流里把它拿回来，也许吧。

方法很簡單。要讓他們以為這老人很好欺負，隨便就能賺到一筆小錢。我看得出來他們在想「看看他，他連釣竿都抓不穩了」。等到我們進到樹林深處，他們就會知道弱的是誰了。屢試不爽。
完事之後，我會把錢跟其他人平分，畢竟這樣才公平。
要是沒把指環弄丟就好了，我當時能感到有股真力流過身體。我是為了擋下迎面而來的鐵錘，才弄丟的，掉進了我們「比賽」場地附近的溪流。也許有天能從溪裡拿回來，也許吧。

The method is simple. Let them think they're about to make a bit of easy coin from an old man. "Look at him, he can barely hold his fishing rod," they think. I see it in their eyes. Then, once we've brought them deep enough into the woods, we show them who is weak. We always do.
I split our take with the others once the deed is done. Fair's fair after all.
Oh, how I wish I hadn't lost my ring. I felt true power coursing through me in those days. It came off when I had to defend myself against a hammer blow. It splashed into the stream near where we hold our "contests". Maybe I could pluck it back out of the stream one day. Maybe.
