玩家在先锋队接到的第一个任务是运送一些天线到遥远的天仓五II，但到了那里却发现整个定居点都被杀了。他们在那里遇到了哈德良，他是一名前异兽作战部研究员，来到这儿是为了查明骇变兽是如何一路来到这里的。玩家和哈德良将骇变兽拿下，这时哈德良发现——这只骇变兽似乎是突然出现的。

各阶段任务说明
- 图阿拉指挥官指示我去新亚特兰蒂斯城太空港与赫拉特机工长谈谈，以交接需要让我带去天仓五II的材料。
- 我刚和赫拉特机工长谈过，并且得到了天仓五II的维修材料，我得尽快赶过去把这些东西送到。
- 我刚才听到附近的工厂里传出了一声惨无人道的尖叫，我得去看看怎么回事。
- 其中一栋工厂建筑里还有人活着！她让我去主楼二楼找她。
- 有个人在其中一栋工厂建筑里刚刚通过我的无线电联系上了我，那个人叫我在有巨大“天仓”标志的那栋楼里见面。
- 我和哈德良见了面，她是一名前联殖研究员，因为异常骇变兽的传闻而来到这里。她拜托我去附近的安保哨站，重置她和哨站的连接，让她能够重新启动设施的防线。
- 我把牲畜追踪系统调到了183.5，结果引起了骇变兽的注意，现在它开始行动了。哈德良建议我不要和它正面交战，而是应该把每栋楼上的断路器打开，这样就能启动设施里的炮塔。
- 我已授予哈德良远程访问安全中心的许可。她发现了一个系统，能够帮我追踪设施周围的骇变兽。不过首先，我需要把系统调到正确的频率：183.5。
- 所有的炮塔都恢复正常，这下要杀骇变兽应该能更加轻松些……但愿吧。
