"Who says?" - — Jay, Jake and Jim, The World of Angry Birds Official Guide[6]
Jay, Jake and Jim,[1] collectively known as the Blues, are recurrent characters that appear in the Angry Birds series. These three hatchlings are brothers who hatched from the same egg, and the youngest members of the Angry Birds. Virtually identical to each other in both personality and appearance, the Blues are immature and mischievous due to their age, often playing pranks on their friends, but are surprisingly clever and capable in battle.
The characters debuted in Poached Eggs in the original Angry Birds; in gameplay, they are some of the weakest birds but are excellent at breaking glass. They also possess the peculiar ability to merge into a single bird and split again in mid-air.

The three Blues are identical in appearance (although Jay is said to have a hidden darker feather on his back[5]), being small hatchlings covered in blue feathers, hence their name. Like most other characters, they have completely round bodies with no limbs. They resemble Red, but have a slightly longer beak and notable orange eyelids that partially cover the bottom part of their eyes. The Blues have a tuft of two blue feathers on their head, and their tail consists of two black feathers with squarish ends. Unlike the other birds, they lack eyebrows and chest feathers.
Personality
The Blues are mischievous and adventurous. Their identical personalities make them a tight-knit trio, rarely seen apart.[7] They always look for new ways to entertain themselves, frequently by playing pranks and games on the other birds.[6] Despite their mischief, the Blues are clever and resourceful, often finding creative solutions to problems and devising elaborate pranks.[5][11] They possess excellent coordination, and are said to be some of the only Angry Birds that understand the power of teamwork.[7]
Due to their young age, the Blues hate rules, growing up, and responsibility.[6] Their naivety often leads them to trouble,[3] and are guillible and easily distracted while guarding the eggs,[1] which as a result are stolen by the pigs. Nonetheless, the Blues are quick to rectify their mistakes and usually manage to get the eggs back before anyone notices.[7] Their unmanageable demeanor often puts them at odds with the other birds, who try to instill discipline in them.[5] The Blues hate being scolded, and burst in tears when in trouble,[1][7] which in turn evokes sympathy from the others.[5][12]
Game appearances
Angry Birds
In the original Angry Birds, and its multiple re-releases, the Blues are some of the core playable characters. They are introduced in Poached Eggs, specifically its tenth level, and appear in all subsequent chapters except The Big Setup. They were the second characters introduced in the game, and the first to have a unique ability. In the levels and most cutscenes, the Blues appear in their original design, though the profiles of The Mighty League and the ending cutscene of Jurassic Pork depict them in their design from Angry Birds Toons.
In gameplay, the Blues can only be used in the levels where they are available. At first, they will be fused as a singular bird. After launching this Blue, the player can tap the screen to split him into three for a triple attack. After splitting, one of the Blues will arch upward, another downward, and the other will continue in his regular path. Due to their small size, the Blues are extremely weak and struggle to damage sturdy structures. They perform best against glass (replaced with bone blocks in Jurassic Pork) but cannot break wooden and stone blocks. Despite their ability to scatter, the Blues are most effective when their power is activated just before hitting their target, being able to deal more damage if the three birds hit the same spot together than if each attacks a different spot alone.[13] Upon beating the level, the player is given 10,000 bonus points for each Blue that was not used.
Angry Birds Seasons
In Angry Birds Seasons, and its multiple re-releases, the Blues return as playable characters. They are introduced early in Trick or Treat, again as the second characters, and appear in all of the following episodes. In gameplay, the Blues control exactly the same as in the original Angry Birds with no significant differences. When going underwater, they are extremely weak and quickly lose speed. They are also moderate at destroying floating blocks, like the snow that first appears in Season's Greedings and the clouds that debut in Hogs and Kisses. In more recent versions of Seasons, they also have unlockable costumes called "Bird Wear" like most other characters.
The Blues, while not often, appeared in promotional artwork as prominent characters, most noticeably Tropigal Paradise. They also appeared in the Ham'o'ween Short Movie, where they discovered Bubbles.
Angry Birds Rio
In the "Rio" storyline of Angry Birds Rio, the Blues alongside Red and Chuck were all kidnapped and sent to a lair in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The being responsible of the kidnapping, an anthropomorphic cookatoo named Nigel, showed up and revealed that he had kidnapped the birds to sell them for a hefty price due to them being part of an "exceptionally rare species".[14] Seeing many other birds being held captive inside the lair as well, the Blues, Red and Chuck broke free and liberated the caged birds, including two macaws named Blu and Jewel, who were united by handcuffs. The Angry Birds, alongside Blu and Jewel, escaped to a jungle as Nigel sent his marmosets to go after them. Eventually, the Blues and their allies met Rafael, a friend of Blu, who guided them to a beach where they could find Luiz, a bulldog who could take the handcuffs out of Blu and Jewel. After heading to the beach, they found Luiz, who managed to separate the macaws from each other, but Jewel was soon after caught by Nigel. The Angry Birds eventually ended up in the middle of a carnival and chased Nigel to an airport. There, the birds got onboard a plane that had Blu, Jewel and Nigel. The Blues and their comrades had a final showdown against Nigel. After triumphing and freeing all the other birds, the flock crashlanded on Piggy Island, unknowingly thwarting the pigs' plans to steal the eggs in their absence.
In the "Rio 2" storyline, the Blues and their friends received a postcard from Blu and Jewel inviting them to Rio de Janeiro. The birds got inside a wooden box headed to the city. After a rather inconvenient journey, they landed at the outskirts of Rio as they watched a firework display.[15] However, soon encountered hordes of marmosets. Eventually ending up in a harbor, the Angry Birds freed some kidnapped birds and dolphins, before unintentionally freeing Nigel himself, who had survived the past incident. Later, at a lake, the Blues and their group fought Nigel and threw him into the water. They reunited with Blu, with whom they dealt with the remaining marmosets.
In gameplay, the Blues work exactly the same as they did in previous games with no significant changes to their mechanics. As with the pigs in other titles, the Blues can easily destroy individual cages or beat marmosets, but struggle to deal major damage to bosses on their own. In the "Rio" segment, they use their design from the original Angry Birds, while the "Rio 2" episodes have them in their design from Toons. They are first used in Smugglers' Den,[13] or in the second level of Playground in newer versions, and appear in every chapter of the game.
Angry Birds Chrome
The Blues appeared in Angry Birds Chrome, with the exact same abilities as their original game, however they got a new design which fans dub: "The Chrome Designs"
Angry Birds Vuela Tazos
The Blues appears in Angry Birds Vuela Tazos, with the exact same abilities as their original game, but debut in Angry Birds Vuela Tazos Level 3
Angry Birds Winter Wonderland
The Blues appears in Angry Birds Winter Wonderland, with the exact same abilities as their original game, but only show up in the level
Angry Birds Friends
Jay, Jake and Jim appear as playable characters in Angry Birds Friends.
Gameplay
The Blues are the same as in previous slingshot games. When launched, if the player taps them, they will split into 3. They are very strong against glass, but weak against other materials.
In the Star Cup, they can be leveled up by obtaining feathers.
Jay also appeared purchasable in the Bird-O-Matic. He can wear any accessory and can be chosen as the player's avatar.
Angry Birds Coca-Cola
The Blues appears in Angry Birds Coca-Cola, with the exact same abilities as their original game, except they debut in Coca-Cola Level 2, alongside Matilda.
Angry Birds Heikki
The Blues appears in Angry Birds Heikki, with the exact same abilities as their original game, except they debut in the second level of the game, Hockenheim.
Angry Birds Trilogy
The Blues appears in Angry Birds Trilogy, with the same abilities they had in the original game, Seasons and Rio respectively. The cutscenes for the game features them in their Toons designs. In this game they are referred to as "J-Birds" and "Blue Birds".[1]
Bad Piggies
The Blues appears in Bad Piggies as secondary antagonists that first appeared in the cutscenes of When Pigs Fly, where they noticed the pigs trying to steal the eggs, leading into Flight in the Night, where they are prominently featured. In the cutscenes; they pranked the pigs by painting rocks with white paint, tricking them into thinking that they are eggs, beginning the events of the game. Once the pigs find out that they've been tricked, the Blues laugh, knowing that their prank was successful.
After this update, they along with Chuck and Red appear as hazards for the pig, Ross. This is the first time the Blues appear as antagonists.
Jay, Jake, and Jim's designs slightly change. They receive different outlining, as well as better shading and animation.
Gameplay
When Flight in the Night was first released, they did not appear in the initial ten levels. However, once the second and third chapters were released, they were featured as enemies in various levels. They first appear sleeping, however, if the player makes enough noise, they will wake up and go after Ross.
Like Chuck, they use their ability when they sling themselves. If they split far from the player, then the results will not be as destructive, as a single blue bird is not very strong. However, if all three manage to hit the vehicle then the player might lose control and crash. Notably, there is no glass in the game, but they can still activate TNT and damage wood (though they will simply bounce off of metal pieces).
They can also land on the top of your vehicle, which will cause terrible balance and can topple the vehicle over.
Angry Birds Go! Countdown
The Blues appears in Angry Birds Go! Countdown as characters the players can get information from until the release of the game (see below)
Angry Birds Go!
The Blues appear in Angry Birds Go! as playable characters of the game. Once the player unlocks them, he/she can use them freely (provided that he/she has the energy).
The Blues were introduced with the rest of the flock when the game was first released and was involved in promotional material and trailers for the game. They also received their own merchandise, including Jenga and Telepods figures.
For the very first time in the Angry Birds universe, the game is based on computer-generated images and 3D modelling, and the Blues have their own CGI models in the game. They take on the same exact appearance as they always do unlike many of the other characters.
While Jay, Jake, and Jim are 3 separate characters, they are counted as a single unit and sit together in an upside-down helmet with the number "3" on both sides. The helmet can not be removed and will always be with them even when the player changes karts.
Gameplay
The Blues, for the very first time in the Angry Birds series, cannot split into three, as it would not make sense in a racing game.
Instead, they have 3 short boosts that the player can use any time during the race. While a single boost is not as powerful as other characters like Red and Chuck, it is much more versatile and can be distributed throughout the course, though it does require a bit more strategy and timing.
Angry Birds Epic
The Blues were introduced in Angry Birds Epic as playable characters along with Red, Chuck, Bomb, and Matilda. Once the player unlocks them, he/she can use them as one of the 5 playable characters in the story mode. They take on the role of the archers in the game. They also appear in promotional material and trailers for the game.
The Blues, like all of the other characters, can be customized to the player's preference. This includes their costumes (which affect their abilities) and their weapons. This is entirely based on the resources that the player has.
Gameplay
- 主条目: Epic Characters
Angry Birds Fight!
Jay, Jake, and Jim appear in Angry Birds Fight! as one of the 6 playable characters of the game. Other than being playable characters, they also appear on the matching board as matchable icons.
The Blues often appear in promotional material and trailers for the game.
Certain parts of the game use computer animation, such as the player's customizable characters. The Blues use computer animation during battles and in some other parts of the game. They use their Toons animation, and while other games base their characters off this appearance, Fight! takes its character animation straight from the series.
As of August 1, 2017, the game has been discontinued and taken down from the Play and App stores, and servers have since been shut down.
Gameplay
The game wouldn't include much gameplay with the birds, but more so the player's objective was to match rows of 3 of the birds' icons, which would be placed all over a matching board. Matching rows of 4 or more would activate that bird's specific ability. If 4 of the Blues' icons were matched, then they'd paint random panels on the board of the opponent.
Once the round is over, the two battling players would begin fighting, and the player's success was determined entirely by how many points he/she made.
Angry Birds 2
Jay, Jake, and Jim appear in Angry Birds 2 as one of the 12 playable characters of the game and are the secondary characters to be introduced in the game. In addition, The Blues has their own daily event, named Blue's Brawl, which can be played on Tuesdays.
The game's playable characters can be upgraded if the player earns enough feathers to fill up their meter. Blue feathers, which upgrade the Blues, can be found in treasure chests or as rewards if the player wins in tournament rounds/meet certain objectives. Upgrading characters allow them to rack up more points, making 3-starring levels easier and makes getting cards easier.
The game uses computer animation for the second time in a slingshot game since Angry Birds Stella, so the Blues make much more pronounced expressions and appear much more lively.
The Blues take on their Toons counterparts, and also are given the same voices used in the animation series.
Gameplay
The Blues once again have the same ability to split into three and are once again good at breaking through the glass.
When the player is aiming the Blues, glass objects will be highlighted, indicating that that is the material The Blues are best at destroying. However, wood and stone will not be highlighted due to The Blues' weakness in other materials.
Since the game utilizes the card feature, the player can use the Blues as they like throughout the level provided that they are in the player's deck. It is suggested that they are used obviously on glass structures, but also when multiple pigs are located in different areas, or perhaps propped by balloons.

Angry Birds POP!
The Blues first appeared in Angry Birds POP! as guest characters when the game was renamed in 2016, and have since been occasionally brought into the game for special events. As guest characters, they'd be playable for any section of the game by player choice.
They are so far the only members of the original flock to not be permanent characters in the game.
The Blues take on their Angry Birds Toons appearance in the game, and use computer animation, allowing for them to be much more lively and animated.
Gameplay
Each character in the game has its unique bubble boost, and each character's bubble has a different ability. The Blues' ability is entitled to the Triple Threat or otherwise known as the Triple Pop. When the bubble is fired, it will disperse into 3, popping bubbles in three different areas. Their bubble is neon blue with three glowing orbs inside of it.
Angry Birds Ace Fighter
Jay, Jake, and Jim appear in Angry Birds Ace Fighter as main and playable characters. They appear in promotional material and trailers for the game.
Jay, Jake, and Jim's in-game description:
The Blues are the naughtiest birds in the flock. They are cheerful, fear nothing and are always playing pranks and causing general mayhem.
Rovio announced that the game would be discontinuing due to adjustment of structure platform, as well as an expired contract with Siamgame. On September 6, 2016, the game was removed from the Play and App stores and recharge was turned off, making the game nearly impossible. On October, 10th, servers were shut down.
Gameplay
The game is based on a "Shoot Em Up" style, with the player placed at the bottom of the screen as enemies fly down from the top of the screen.
Not much is known about the Blues role in the game. It is known that they were one of four playable characters and could be paired with different kinds of planes.
Angry Birds Blast!
Jay, Jake, and Jim appear in Angry Birds Blast!as one of the six characters of the game, but none are playable characters in the game. They appear in promotional material and trailers for the game.
Every character has his/her own unique quest, and the Blues' quest reads the following:
"Find some little buddies and have a party!"
All the player has to do to fill the objective is play levels with hatchlings on them, and earn 3 hatchlings.
The Blues take on their Toons appearance in multiple areas of the game, but the blue birds encased inside of the balloons take on a slightly different, more exaggerated appearance.
Gameplay
The game's objective is for the player to pop groups of 2 or more balloons to free the birds inside. Multiple blue birds can be found in the blue balloons.
Other than this, there is not much direct gameplay involved with the birds, and the game is based entirely on the player.
Angry Birds Island
Jay, Jake, and Jim appear in Angry Birds Island as one of the six characters of the game, but none are playable characters in the game. They appear in promotional material and trailers for the game. They have the same abilities as Angry Birds Blast! (see above)
Angry Birds Reloaded
Jay, Jake and Jim appear as playable characters in Angry Birds Reloaded.
Gameplay
The Blues are the same as in previous slingshot games. When launched, if the player taps them, they will split into 3. They are very strong against glass, but weak against other materials.
Book appearances
Kaiken
The Blues appear somewhat regularly in the Kaiken educational books, even having starring roles in a couple of stories. The Blues' mischievous qualities are heavily downplayed, as much like the rest of The Flock, they were toned down to work better in stories for children in early childhood.
Opposites
The Blues act as the protagonist of this book, where they travel from place to place, pointing out differences between themselves, other birds, and objects.
Shapes
The Blues appearance in this book heavily mirrors their role in Opposites. They move from object to object, identifying the shape of whatever or whoever they come across.
Angry Birds: Sing the ABCs
The trio serve as a cameo at the end of the book, where they agree to sing the ABCs with Girl Bird at some point along with the rest of the Flock.
Angry Birds: Mystery of the Green Bird
The Blues play a minor role in the book. The three can first be seen swimming while Matilda is showing off the green feather she found. They later celebrate when the green "bird" arrives at their camp. The Blues also appear at the party held in Hard Head's honor, and are last seen being put to bed after the party ends.
Angry Birds: Mystery of the Lost Treasure
The triplets act as secondary protagonists. After Chuck discovers a treasure map, Red forebays the three from joining him in his search, as they're supposed to be picking fruit. The Blues decide that Red knows nothing, and follow Chuck around without his knowledge. After bailing Chuck out of a couple close calls, making their presence known, he orders the trio to stop following him. They predictably don't listen, which proves fortunate for Chuck as they save him from drowning in quicksand. Despite losing the map, the four manage to locate the treasure regardless, which turns out to be a large box of food. When they return, Red asks why they disobeyed him. The Blues explain that they didn't want Chuck to be lonely, so they followed him. Red forgives them, and they celebrate their discovery of the treasure.
Angry Birds: Red Bird To The Rescue!
When Red goes on a search to find a stolen Egg, The Blues help him search the forest. While they come up empty handed, Red is later able to retrieve the Egg from King Pig by himself.
Angry Birds: Stella and the Hunt for the Jade Egg
The trio make their first appearance with Matilda as she's mourning the loss of her Jade Egg pendant, and are ordered to move aside by Red. When Stella decides to get the Jade Egg back herself, The Blues decide to follow her. The three end up saving Stella and Bubbles by pelting the perusing army of Minion Pigs with rocks during their retreat from Pig City.
Angry Birds: Bomb's Best Birthday
The Blues play a part in Red's plan to get Bomb a birthday party after Bomb strands himself on a mountain out of fear of exploding. The triplets aid Red in painting the "Happy Birthday" banner.
Angry Birds: Cheer Up, Chuck!
During the story, The Blues spend their time playing a three-player game of ball near the nest. When The Flock comes under attack from Corporal Pig, The Blues aid in the ensuing conflict, ultimately thwarting the corporal.
Angry Birds: Stella and the Egg Tree
The Blues appear on Bomb's team during the volleyball game at the start of the book. They later appear along with Bomb, Chuck, and Red when The Eggs are stolen from Stella.
Angry Birds: Red And The Great Fling-Off
Appearing as background characters for most of the story, The Blues serve as little more than cameos. They, alongside Bomb, are the only birds known to have participated in this year's Great Fling-Off.
A Pig From The Stars And Other Stories 1
The Abominable Snowbird
During a winter day, The Blues decide to go to the Crown Mountains to play in the snow. They soon find themselves being picked on by a group of Minion Pigs, who pelt them with snowballs and destroy their sculptures. The triplets respond by concocting a plan to scare the pigs off the mountain, resulting in them creating a Snowbird and rolling it down the mountain.
While the brothers initially celebrate their success, they become horrified when the Snowbird they made begins following them. After a brief run-in, The Blues are trapped inside a cave with the Snowbird. It's only then do they realize the Snowbird was Terence the whole time. As it turns out, the brothers had accidentally trapped him in the Snowbird when they rolled it after the pigs. They free Terence, and he breaks open the cave entrance for them.
A Pig From The Stars And Other Stories 2
Bubbling Over
When Bubbles inflates himself during a thunderstorm after losing his candy, The Blues are able to locate the candy for Bubbles, finding it stuck in Terence's tail feathers. Even after getting his candy back, Bubbles can't seem to deflate himself. One of The Flock's attempts to help involves The Blues jumping on Bubbles to make him shrink, to little effect.
A Pig From The Stars And Other Stories 3
A Night In The Forest
When Red states that he's not afraid of anything in the forest, The Blues take it as a challenge, leading to two botched attempts to startle Red. Ironically, Red ends up scaring himself while trying to get back at The Blues, resulting in him hiding in their tent in fear.
Day Of The False King Pig
When The Blues drop their beach ball into the water, Red goes to retrieve it. When he goes in, he's grabbed by a large wave, throwing him head-first onto the beach. When he comes to, he thinks he's King Pig, and even wants to eat The Eggs. The Blues' beach ball ends up hitting Red on the head, turning him back to normal.
A Pig From The Stars And Other Stories 4
My Kingdom For A Kite
While testing rubber on trees in the Slingshot Woods, King Pig blusters in, demanding to be slung at a kite flying overhead. The Blues reason that shooting a pig from a Slingshot would be cool, and agree to the monarchs demands, and send him flying.
Angry Birds: The Attack of The Monster
When Matilda retires to her garden at the start of the book, The Blues tag along, but end up falling asleep soon after they arrive. The three are awoken by the howls of a mysterious monster that ravages the garden. The Blues escape, and tell Red about their encounter. When Matilda goes missing, the triplets are dispatched to search for her, but come back empty handed. When The Flock find Matilda's seed bag on the ground, they assume that she was taken by the monster. Jim and Jake begin crying, but Jay notices the lack of prints on the ground. The birds soon realize that the kidnapping was the work of the Pigs. When the flock, sans Red, go to Pig City to break Matilda free, they are chased out of the entrance by the monster. The Blues ultimately defeat the monster by tricking it into falling into the trap Chuck dug.
Angry Birds: Captain Badburger
Out of the rest of The Core Flock, The Blues appear the latest in the book. They are first mentioned in the penultimate chapter, where Bomb is forced to dodge the makeshift cannonballs they employ during The Flock's battle with Captain Badburger's crew. When Stella and Chuck return the stolen Eggs to the nest in the final chapter, The Blues jump Chuck. Stella assumes it's because they forgot to take off their pirate disguises, but the triplets just wanted to jump Chuck for fun. They are last seen at the celebration the birds hold at the end of the story.
Angry Birds: The Tale of a Featherless Friend
When Stella brings a new friend into The Flock, Red is immediately suspicious, sending The Blues to spy on Stella and her new friend. Stella finds them out, which distracts her from Bomb, who was the actual spy.
Powers and abilities
Despite their young age, the Blues possess a variety of skills that make them formidable fighters of the Angry Birds. As triplets, they have the peculiar ability to merge into one single bird and split whenever desired, allowing them to perform coordinated attacks and hit multiple targets at the same time.[5] They are shown to exceed in destroying glass, but are weak against other materials. They are also skilled drivers, capable of operating karts together.
The Blues exceed at combat, showing proficiency with operating all kinds of projectile-based weapons and being experienced in hand-to-hand combat, able to beat hordes of pigs on their own.[16] They are also very hardy, coming out unscathed by being prickled by several cacti[17] and even resisting atmospheric entry.[15]
Relationships
Red
- "Red thinks we're not ready for battle."
"But we are. Boars beware!" - — Jake and Jay, The World of Angry Birds Official Guide[6]
The Blues see Red as a hero and dream of becoming powerful fighters like him when they grow up.[7][3] Nevertheless, they dislike his daily lectures about responsibility and training,[6][5] and believe he underestimates them.[6][17]
Chuck
- "Chuck is a joke."
"He's always trying to boss us around."
"He's mega-fast though. Even we can't catch him." - — Jim, Jake and Jay, The World of Angry Birds Official Guide[6]
The Blues dislike Chuck and find him too overbearing.[6][18] For this reason, they love making him the target of their pranks, once disguising him as a pig in his sleep and making Terence chase him.[6][5] However, they appreciate his super speed.[6]
Bomb
The Blues are close friends with Bomb, particularly due to their shared love of fun and mischief.[5] They also are entertained by Bomb's explosiveness and abilities.[19][20] The four can often be seen together playing games, sometimes with disastrous results.[21]
Matilda
The Blues are treated by Matilda as if they were her children. They often are under her watchful eye when it comes to eating vegetables and not causing trouble.[5][12] Although they pretend they do not like Matilda's fussing over them, the Blues secretly do appreciate her nurturing nature.[6]
The Mighty Eagle
The Blues see the Mighty Eagle as a hero and strive to be like him.[7][6] They often go to his cave and ask him to tell them his war stories in exchange for sardines.[22] Whenever the Blues come visit, the Mighty Eagle also plays with them by bouncing them on his giant beak.[6]
Hal
Hal is seen as a better father-figure to the Blues, as they choose to tag along with him than Red, who offers to follow along. In a short strip from Angry Birds Comics Issue 4 titled "Peak Beak," Hal is willing to help them through many obstacles, like crossing a cliff, being shelter for rain, and being a boat to cross a river. It seems to be that the Blues stick to Hal more because his beak an extremely useful component of him.
Terence
It can be assumed Terence and The Blues are good friends. In their description on angrybirds.com, it is shown that they play pranks with him as some sort of prop, as it mentions they dressed up Chuck in a pig costume and called Terence over to deal with him.
Bubbles
The Blues treat Bubbles like a younger sibling. When The Blues barely knew him and he got captured by the pigs, they went out of their way to rescue him. They also don't seem to get very upset when he eats most of their candy, meaning they are more tolerant if he wrongs them in any way. The Blues also think he is cute and coo over him at the end of the Ham'o'ween Short Movie.
Stella
According to the book Stella's Friend Book, Stella likes The Blues' jokes, but sometimes she thinks they can go too far with their pranks.
Silver
According to an issue of Angry Birds Magazine, Silver's best friends are The Blues, as they all enjoy pranking and playing jokes.

Trivia
- In older games and media such as the Kombo trailers, only one blue bird is shown at a time. It was implied that this bird can make two copies of himself, and the other two Blues were just clones of this single bird.
- Despite this, many other games such as Angry Birds 2 list the Blues as a single bird called "Blues".
- In games that use their Chrome designs, the Blues will immediately turn into corpses once the player activates their ability, regardless of whether or not they touch a surface.
- The Blues are the only characters in the flock to not have eyebrows. But there are rare situations like the first cinematic trailer where they do.
- The Blues' power was never changed or even slightly modified in any slingshot-based Angry Birds game.
- Jay was incorrectly named "Jon" in an Angry Birds Comics issue #1, in Propiganda, as a typo. This also happened with Bomb, who was incorrectly named "Bob" in a panel from the Angry Birds Space comic.
- Luca and The Blues are similar to each other, as they are both young blue birds who are effective against glass.
- In Angry Birds Go!, they are the first of three characters whose power can be used three times, the second being Foreman Pig, and the third being Corporal Pig.
