Overview

Being SCP-079 should be treated as a major role in the SCP teams. Your abilities will help the SCPs kill the humans with ease. Stay with your team, trap human and unlock more power. But, you may be wondering how do you all of this? This guide will teach you all the basics of SCP-079 and some tactics as well.

How to Control

• SCP-079 uses cameras to see. You can move to a camera in three different ways.
• You can click on the camera icons on your screen, use the WSAD keys or press TAB to open up a map of the current zone you are in and teleport to any room you select.
• You can look around with a camera with by moving your mouse to the edges of the screen in the direction to look.
• By holding down spacebar, you can make the camera move along with your mouse, this allows you to look around faster, but you will have a harder time clicking on icons.
  • In the settings you can change it so the spacebar will instead toggle between the camera movement options.

Important Info

• SCP-079 has two bars in the bottom left corner of the screen, AP bar and EXP bar .
• AP functions like a mana bar. Using abilities drain it, but it slowly fills up over time.
  • The speed at which AP refills over time is based on what tier you are.
• EXP is used to level up. You can gain a small amount of EXP by using your abilities, like interacting with doors and teslas.
• You can gain a lot of EXP by assisting in killings. This is done by either closing, opening or locking a nearby door, or sending a nearby elevator up or down.
• Each time you completely fill the EXP bar, you level up. Leveling up unlocks new abilities and faster AP regen.
• By opening your minimap and looking in the top left corner, you can see how much people are alive of each class.
• SCP-079 has the ability to see people wearing SCP-268. Use this to your advantage by closing doors to a room that the person is in. Forcing them to blow their cover.
• 5 Generators spawn around the map in Heavy Containment Zone.
  • These generators are used to recontain you. If all 5 are turned on. SCP-079 dies 1 minute later.
  • Each generator that turns on will increase your AP regen rate. Check the SCP-079 page to see a chart on AP regen rate at each tier plus generator.
  • A 武器管理面板 must be placed in the generator to warm it up. When a generator is warmed up, 079 will be alerted with a warning on their screen. Opening the map as SCP-079 in Heavy Containment Zone will mark any rooms as red that have a generator warming up. While SCP-079 can't turn off a generator, his teammates can, as well as humans.

Tactic 1

• This first tactic is simple, stay with your teammates at all times.

  • When Nine Tailed Fox comes in the room, activate the lockdown ability, the lights will go out and SCP-173 will be able to move freely and kill them. Though, watch out for Flashlights.

Tactic 2

• If you aren't a big fan of staying with your teammates all the time, this tactic is for you.
• First, open SCP-914 door for your teammates to get a lot of EXP.
• After leveling up, focus on Heavy Containment.
• Start locking doors to lead humans to rooms containing a Tesla Gate.
• When they try to walk through the Tesla Gate, activate it to kill them.
• If you can't lead humans into Tesla Gates, then you can try leading them into SCPs or humans on a different team.
• Leading a D Class to a group of Nine Tailed Fox can be an effective way of killing them.
• Basically, use your abilities to manipulate the humans to walk to their death

SCP-079 is a powerful support SCP that is most effective when working with his teammates. Staying near them often and closing doors on humans running away from them, will prove to be very effective. And, if you don't like being with your team all the time, then you can manipulate the humans into walking in traps.
