对于其他可以砍树的工具，参见链锯和锤斧。

斧头是基础工具，玩家可用它来砍伐树和仙人掌，包括它们的各种变种。它们也可以作为武器使用。新玩家生成时总是会带有一把铜斧。

树有 500% HP，而仙人掌有 170% HP。斧头的劈砍速度只受速度修饰语影响，不受其他任何因素影响。

对于困难模式之前的斧头最佳修饰语是轻而对于困难模式的斧头是传奇。这条规则的例外情况是流星锤斧，它在传奇修饰语和轻修饰语下是一样的速度；以及蘑菇矿挖爪，它重铸为轻时能更快砍倒树。

小贴士

  • 斧头可以通过重铸来加快砍树速度，而链锯不行。
  • 可能值得为摇树而保留一把铜斧，因为树被摇动的次数越多就有越大的几率得到掉落物。

历史

  • 电脑版 1.2：斧头不再能摧毁放置的木材块，现在由镐来干这事。还加入了战斧，作为面对困难模式矿石时除链锯外的另一个选择。
