锤是用于打破背景墙以及创造半物块与斜面的工具。

高级别的锤（例如夜明锤）拥有高伤害并可作为武器使用。其中一些能同时作为锤与斧头来用，称为锤斧。新玩家出现时不会随带锤。

任何锤都能用来打破暗影珠和猩红之心。要摧毁祭坛则需要神锤或更强的锤，不过只在已经打败血肉墙的世界才能这么做。如果试图用较差的锤或者在打败血肉墙之前摧毁之，玩家将损失一半当前生命值，同时祭坛安然无恙。

历史

  • 电脑版 1.2.4：修正了玩家站在向下的斜坡与半格块之间时会漂浮的问题。
  • 电脑版 1.2.3：增加了倒置的斜面。修正了两个漂浮玩家的 Bug，这种 Bug 使得玩家和所站的表面之间的距离异常的大。
  • 电脑版 1.2：
    • 锤现在可以用来制造半物块与斜面。
    • 锤不再能移除家具与生命水晶，现在要用镐或钻头来移除。
  • 电脑版 1.0.6：锤现在摧毁物块的速度加快，摧毁墙的速度大概是其他物体的两倍。
