The Lookout Tower is an early game organization structure that provides a tall platform with which to get a good view for building. The Lookout Tower can also be useful for scaling cliffs or getting to hard to reach places without the use of Foundations, useful for finding special items such as Power Slugs or Mercer Spheres.

To reach even higher places, consider building Ladders instead.
